Neck pain - what should I do?

I recently had a bad bacterial infection and during my recovery on antibiotics, I developed severe sharp pains in my sacrum and some neck pain. The massage helped with the neck pain instantly and after a day or two the worst pain (the sacrum) reduced greatly. Now sometimes my neck pain comes back and I can barely turn it or move at times. The masseuse recommended coming back for multiple massages, but I thought it would be ok with some time. Should I seek medical attention, go back to the masseuse, take muscle relaxer drugs and wait it out? Please help
